Mika Brzezinski: Carson’s Foreign Policy ‘Frightening and Detrimental’

Thursday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski described Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson’s foreign policy as “frightening and detrimental.”

After playing clips of Carson saying China is also in Syria, Brzezinski said, “It’s completely confusing, it’s vexing and really frighting for our country.”

Guest Harold Ford Jr. agreed saying, “I think Dr. Carson is being honest, I just don’t think he knows what he’s talking about.”

Brzezinski said, “Well that is scary right?”

She asked The Washington Post’s Robert Costa, “What am I missing here with this candidate? It seems as if he might not know anything about what he’s talking about as it pertains to foreign policy to the point of frightening and detrimental.”

Costa said, “He gave a muddled answer on foreign policy at the debate. Whats hard to figure with Dr. Carson is weather he is in the dovish wing of the Republican party or the hawkish wing. This is the debate of 2016 other than immigration.”

Bloomberg Mark Halperin added, “When we get to January-February electability and ready to be president from day one are going to be bigger issues in voters minds,” added, “answered like that from Dr. Carson are going to cost him votes if he can’t get better.”
