Mets OF Yoenis Cespedes Thinks Baseball Is Unplayable, Allows Inside-The-Park Home Run

In the second inning of the spring training matchup between the Houston Astros and the New York Mets Thursday, Astros first baseman A.J. Reed sent a deep fly ball that one-hopped the wall, ending up at its base.

Mets centerfielder Yoenis Cespedes for some reason did not think the ball was playable, so he threw up his hands to signal a ground rule double.

One of the umpires came out to make a ruling, deciding the ball was easily still in play. Reed, confused, continued to run the bases, and was awarded with an inside-the-park home run.
