Obama: ‘I Guarantee’ Justice Department Will Not Protect Hillary

On this weeks broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” President Barack Obama “guaranteed” his former Secretary of State and current Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton would not get special treatment or protection form his administration in regards to the current FBI investigation into how she handled classified materiel on her private email sever.

When asked if she will be treated the same as anyone under the law Obama said, “I can guarantee that.”

He continued, “I do not talk to the Attorney General about pending investigations. I do not talk to FBI directors about pending investigations. We have a strict line … I guarantee that there is no political influence in any investigation conducted by the Justice Department, or the FBI, not just in this case, but in any case.”

Wallace asked, “even if she ends up as the Democratic nominee?”

Obama insisted, “How many times do I have to say it, Chris? Guaranteed.”
