While speaking to reporters on Thursday, Senate Majority Whip and Senate Judiciary Committee member John Cornyn (R-TX) stated he didn’t find any reason to find Dr. Christine Blasey Ford “not credible.”
Cornyn said, “I think we need to hear from the judge. His reputation is on the line, his career as well. This needs to be fair process to both Dr. Ford and to Judge Kavanaugh.”
He added, “I found no reason to find her not credible. There are obviously gaps in her story. Obviously, we know people who are traumatized have those sort of gaps. … I thought she did just fine.”
