Donald Trump thinks his rival Hillary Clinton will apologize for calling millions of Americans racist and “deplorables” at about the same time she turns over her 33,000 deleted emails, he joked on Monday.
“Hillary Clinton owes all of you an apology and I think you’ll get that apology right around the same time that she hands over the 33,000 emails that she deleted,” the Republican nominee told a huge crowd in Asheville, North Carolina during a campaign rally on Monday night.

Earlier in the day, Trump said Clinton should apologize or else she can’t credibly campaign any further due to the disdain she revealed for millions of Americans by labeling them as “racist,” saying half of Trump supporters could be put into a “basket of deplorables.”

“And by the way, Hillary destroyed her emails after — think of this — after she received a congressional subpoena and nothing happened,” he continued. “What’s going on?”
A bit of a scuffle appeared to break out during Trump’s remarks.
