Hillary Clinton: 'The Buck Stops In the Oval Office'

In 2008, Hillary Clinton told Barack Obama that his focus on “inspiration” and “vision” left something to be desired, saying:

I know that we can get on top of this, but it’s going to require strong presidential leadership – it’s going to require a President who knows from day one you have to run a government and manage the economy. The buck stops in the Oval Office.

Apparently Hillary doesn’t believe that any more, since she has decided that the massive failure of leadership in the assassination of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans was her fault, and that the responsibility no longer starts at the top.

Hillary’s no dummy. She figures that if Obama goes down, she will, too, but if she takes the hit, she’ll just look like she’s being victimized and her career won’t be imperiled. But the truth is that the buck always stops with the president. It’s just convenient for her to change her story now.
