Poll: 63% of GOP Voters Think Congressional Republicans Out of Touch with Base

In addition, only 30% of likely GOP voters think Republicans in Congress have done a “good job representing their party’s values over the past several years.”
As recent polls have indicated, voters in the Republican party are becoming more conservative, and the Republican leaders in Congress are seen as not being as conservative as the party's base.
Rasmussen Reports surveyed 1,000 likely voters between January 13 and 14. The margin of error is +/- 3 percentage points.
