Houston Man Shoots Home Invaders, Saves Mother and Father

A 21-year-old man came to his parents rescue after three gunmen forced their way into their Houston home.

The family was baking a cake when someone knocked on their front door. The homeowner thought the man was a friend of his son’s so he opened the door. It turns out he was wrong. The suspect, along with two other men, pushed open the door and forced the homeowner to the floor.

With the homeowner out of the way the suspects went after his wife. The son ran and grabbed his father’s gun out of the bedroom. He opened fire, killing one suspect and the other two fled the scene.

Deputies stopped a car with two men fitting descriptions of the two suspects. Both were taken in and questioned. The homeowner’s son will probably not face any charges.

Self-defense is why the Founding Fathers gave us the 2nd Amendment. The three are alive because of the son’s quick thinking and his father having a gun in the house.
