Obama Commits to 20 Fundraisers

With his administration under fire for scandals concerning the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi and the IRS’ targeting of conservative groups, President Obama is prioritizing: he has now committed to 20 fundraisers for 2014.

This week, Obama will head to New York City to grab cash from his liberal allies. One fundraiser will be held by film producer Harvey Weinstein, who has benefitted enormously from the administration’s support of films like Bully (the director of that film did a series of campaign commercials for Obama in 2008). The going rate for tickets: $16,200, just the right price for the middle class families President Obama so enjoys talking about.

Obama is also scheduled to show up at a fundraiser for the House and Senate Democratic campaign committees at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Donors will shell out $7,500 for a seat, or $32,500 to chair the dinner. Obama will be joined by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
