Rangel: Obama's Syria Reversal 'Embarrassing'

On Monday, Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) blasted President Obama for dithering on a military strike against Syria. “I love Obama,” he said, continuing that it would be difficult to find “a truer Democrat than me.” But still, he added, “of course it’s embarrassing, I wish it didn’t happen. I guess Secretary Kerry is even more embarrassed than me after making his emotional speech that this was urgent.” Rangel believes that no military action against Syria is urgent, and that Congress should be asked for authorization.
