Who would want to sit in the Oval Office this week?
The economic news is six kinds of awful, the Middle East is aflame once more with anti-American rioting and gas prices continue to climb.
That's why why need a man like President Barack Obama now more than ever. Think Obama is rattled by the state of the country? Nah. He's got a full day of activities designed to take his mind off such unpleasant matters.
Wish we could say the same.
First, Obama is set to welcome the WNBA Champion Minnesota Lynx in the White House. Then, Obama jets to the Big Apple where he'll yuk it up with far-left comedian David Letterman on "The Late Show."
Finally, he'll cap the day with not one but two fundraisers, the swankier of the pair hosted by the lovely Beyonce and her husband, Jay-Z.
He hardly has time to enact ineffective new policies or launch a fresh apology brigade.
