The film "Little Red Wagon," now available on DVD, is based on the inspirational true story of a boy’s quest to help homeless children after Hurricane Charley ripped through his hometown.
Eight-year-old Zach Bonner survived the hurricane but wanted to help the thousands of children hit hardest by the storm. So he set out with his beat-up red wagon to gather supplies from neighbors to donate to the relief fund. He ended up walking from his home to the State Capitol in Tampa and then to the Nation's Capital and eventually across the country to get media coverage, attention, and sponsors that would help the nation’s homeless children.
Do you know of a special boy or girl who deserves recognition for a heroic act or project? If so, tell us about it in the comments section below, and you'll be entered into a drawing to win one of three copies of the family-friendly "Little Red Wagon" on DVD.
Entrants must copy their stories, along with their appropriate contact information, and send them to Big Hollywood Assistant Editor Christian Toto (firstname.lastname@example.org) so we can contact you should you win.
Contest ends Tuesday Jan. 15.
