Macaulay Culkin Plays in Pizza-Themed Velvet Underground Tribute Band
Former Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin is all grown up and playing the kazoo in a band.
Culkin, part of a large acting brood, is pitching in with a Velvet Underground tribute band that fuses the rock pioneer's music with ... pizza.
Billed as Pizza Underground, the group brings together Culkin and four musicians from New York's anti-folk scene: Matt Colbourn, Phoebe Kreutz, Deenah Vollmer and Austin Kilham. Some 23 years after he starred in Home Alone, Culkin is credited with "percussion/kazoo/vocals."
Culkin's post Home Alone career has been troubled, from a dearth of major roles to an addiction issue the actor appears to have finally put behind him.
