Heart Turns Down Sarah Palin, Pleads with Hillary to Use Its Music

Sarah Palin’s 2008 vice presidential campaign used the Heart classic Barracuda to play off the popular politician’s nickname.

Heart reacted quickly, demanding the campaign to stop using the song at once.

Now, Heart is hoping that not only will Hillary Clinton run for the White House in 2016 but that she’ll use the group’s music along the way.

Whatever Hillary Clinton needs from me, she’s got,” [Heart band member] Ann Wilson recently told ITK.

So what song could Clinton count on to support her presidential aspirations? The band suggests the aforementioned hit might come with too much baggage now.

When ITK inquired whether “Barracuda” would be among the songs in their repertoire that they’d be willing to share with any Clinton campaign, Ann Wilson seemingly took a slight jab at Palin, saying Clinton would be “too smart to ask for that” song.
