Sarah Palin Talks Presidential Run, Chris Christie with Inside Edition

According to Inside Edition, in celebration of her 50th birthday, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin discussed with their own Jim Moret, in an exclusive interview set to air February 11th, such things as considering a presidential run and the Chris Christie BridgeGate scandal.

Palin, self-described on Facebook as “your half-century old friend,” shared the thoughts that come to mind on such a landmark birthday. As it begins to settle in, she said, she begins to contemplate the things that she has yet to do, explaining, “It mostly revolves around family. Making sure everybody is happy and healthy and relatively well adjusted, successful, hard-working. I want to make sure that my kids and grandkids follow suit. There’s still so much to do for the country.”

Palin’s thoughts about seeking the highest office in the land come down to the faith of the people and the wishes of family.

“If enough people have that faith in you that you’re willing and able to put your country on the right path,” she told Moret, “I think that person should absolutely consider it and make sure it’s good with family.”

When it comes to Chris Christie, the former Republican vice presidential candidate is not buying his assertions that he knew nothing about the George Washington Bridge lane closures.

She stated, “When I was Mayor and manager of [Wasilla], and then Governor of the state, certainly you know what your top aides are up to.”

The interview is set to air on Tuesday evening.
