House Committee Calls Hillary For Testimony on Benghazi

The House Foreign Affairs Committee today asked Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to testify in an open hearing about the murder of four Americans including our ambassador to Libya in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. The hearing is slated for November 15; the same day, the Senate will hold a closed-door session on the same topic.

Yesterday, Clinton commented again on embassy security. “We now have a formal Accountability Review Board investigating the terrorist attack that killed Chris, and we will certainly apply its recommendations and lessons learned to improving security everywhere,” she said in a tribute speech to Stevens in Washington, D.C. Stevens might have appreciated a few more Marines rather than a tribute.
