Robinson's Throwing Career Ends in Shame, Remains a Draft Memory

While it has been known for some time that Denard Robinson’s days as a passer were over, not many could have realized his throwing days would come to such a pathetic close. The former Michigan quarterback threw an abysmal opening pitch for the Detroit Tigers, prompting universal ridicule.

Robinson may have thrown his last ball on the big stage, but he will certainly get an NFL shot. However, there is little agreement with regards to where he will play.

Some have argued that the prospect who set the NCAA quarterback rushing record should get a look at running back while others feel that receiver may be a better fit. Regardless, Robinson appears set to be drafted, likely in rounds 3-5, after a stellar college career and a strong showing at the Combine running a 4.43 forty and performing well in drills.
