Fox Sports 1 Channel Finder
Beginning Saturday morning, Fox Sports 1 can be found on channels such as AT&T U-verse 2/651 (2nd number is HD), Campus Cable 72, Comcast 3/242, Charter 38, Dish Network 150, Direct TV 219 and Time Warner Cable 512/1512. Viewers can find their channel by entering their zip code and provider here.
Fox Sports 1 is still working on deals with DirecTV, Dish Network and Time Warner, according to Deadline New York. Those three account for just over half of the 90 million households Fox Sports 1 is claiming for the biggest sports launch ever.
Fox already had signed on Comcast, Charter Communications, Cox Communications, Cablevision Systems, Verizon FiOS, AT&T U-verse, Suddenlink Communications and Mediacom Communications to round out the roster of the largest operators. Hundreds of smaller operators are also in the mix, a Fox representative told Variety.
Fox has heavily invested in getting rights to events and channels such as the PGA's US Open ($100 million for 12 years according to reports to Variety), the New York Yankees network (YES), and are initially letting providers replace the old agreements with Speed to have Fox Sports 1 appear. However, they will reportedly eventually charge providers $1.50 for the channel, with an eye toward being profitable by 2016.
