Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton concedes that her husband Bill Clinton’s rape accusers should be treated like other rape accusers and be “believed at first.”
“Well, I would say that everybody should be believed at first until they are disbelieved based on evidence,” Clinton said at a campaign stop in New Hampshire after a town hall audience member asked her about accusations against former President Clinton.
“You recently came out to say that all rape victims should be believed? But would you say that about Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey, and Paula Jones? Should we believe them as well?” asked the female questioner.
Clinton previously said that all rape victims deserve to be “heard, believed, and supported.”
Paula Jones accused Clinton of misconduct during his time as governor. Broaddrick and Willey both said that Bill Clinton raped them.
