Comedy Central's 'Burn' Host Jokes He's Glad Charlton Heston Is Dead

Liberal celebrities have a funny way of showing how much they value life.

Progressive actors like Mia Farrow, Alec Baldwin and Chris Rock rushed to recommend newer, tougher gun control laws in the wake of last week’s horrific school shooting. One can question the morality of politicizing such a tragedy, but an argument can be made that they were acting with good intentions.

Yet we also see the nastier side of the Left in times of national pain, like when author Joyce Carol Oates rooted for NRA members to be taken down by gunfire and actresses like “CSI” alum Marg Helgenberger cheered her on.

Just today, Oates doubled down on her hateful thoughts.

Now, Comedy Central’s roastmaster general, Jeff Ross, is using the kind of humor that might get a conservative sent on a nationwide apology tour as a promotional tool.

Ross, an Occupy Wall Street supporter, sent out this picture via his Facebook account to highlight the upcoming season of his Comedy Central series, “The Burn with Jeff Ross.”

Ross is known for his unexpurgated comedy in roast settings, but this gag seems nasty even by his standards.
