Irish rocker Bob Geldof’s fame took a back seat in the 1980s to his work leading the anti-poverty crusade known as Live Aid.
Now, Geldof has made a statement which could make people forget all about that historic concert.
Geldof told the assembled folks at the One Young World Summit in South Africa this week that climate change could end all human life on earth sooner than even most global warming alarmists fear.
We may not get to 2030. We need to address the problem of climate change urgently. What are you going to do about it? Get serious. Some of the nations that arrived here so proudly will not be there to meet us.”
