‘American Sniper’ Takes 2014 Box Office Crown

For more than a decade Hollywood lied to the American people in order to justify a string of critical and box office flops aimed at undermining our troops and then-President George W. Bush’s efforts in the ongoing War on Terror. Clint Eastwood’s pro-War On Terror masterpiece “American Sniper” has not only grossed more than all of those films combined, over the weekend it out-grossed every other film released in 2014.

At the domestic box office, “American Sniper” total gross hit $337 million Sunday, which tops the previous 2014 record-holder “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” ($336.9 million), and even the Marvel phenomenon, “Guardians of the Galaxy” ($333 million).

For a decade Hollywood has also lied to the American people about how well pro-American films do overseas. While not a single one of those anti-American films did much better overseas, “American Sniper” has grossed an additional $163 million worldwide.

Incredibly, after 2 months in wide release, “American Sniper” is still in 2,545 domestic theatres.

Only the provincial, bubbled Leftists responsible for running the film business into the ground are surprised by this. Since, oh, about September 12, 2001, out here in the hinterlands, a couple hundred million of us have been begging for an intelligent, well-made film that accurately honors our troops and just as accurately depicts the sub-human barbarity of our enemy.

The film business isn’t a growth business because the people running it are morons who have completely lost touch with their customers. Hollywood’s artistically bankrupt propaganda never stops, though, and it never will.
