CNN's Don Lemon Hectors Traditional Marriage-Advocate

On the same day CNN CEO Phil Kent insists CNN is not a liberal news network, CNN’s Don Lemon mercilessly (and ignorantly) spent seven minutes badgering Heritage scholar Ryan Anderson, a thoughtful advocate for traditional marriage who regularly writes on the subject:

Lemon’s ignorance is breathtaking. Anderson is 100% correct that same-sex marriage is not illegal. This is about redefining the definition of marriage to include same-sex couples. There are no penalties for same-sex couples who marry.

Near the end of the segment, CNN’s unbiased, objective, not-at-all-liberal anchor comes right out and accuses Anderson of intentionally spreading falsehoods. I guess the science on what’s best for children is settled.

Lemon is so out of control in this segment that his other guest, who is in favor of same-sex marriage, doesn’t get more than a minute to speak in a seven-minute segment. It’s Lemon who takes the role of the gay marriage advocate.

For over a week now, the objective, unbiased, not-at-all-liberal CNN has been on a pro-same-sex rampage. Lemon, however, did distinguish himself by hitting a new low.

But CNN isn’t liberal, folks. Our eyes and ears lie.

The Right Scoop has more.
