Will Paul Krugman's mothership arrive on Feb. 15?

I’m not sure whether Paul Krugman’s alien invasion stimulus plan would also work for asteroids. If so, he may be in luck on Feb. 15, when an asteroid will pass near Earth. It’s as good an excuse for federal stimulus as any.
