Colombia rebels head to Norway for peace talks

Negotiators for Colombia’s leftist FARC rebels left Cuba on Tuesday for Norway, where landmark peace talks with the Bogota government are due to begin later this week, the Communist Party said.

“They are already airborne. The entire delegation has left,” Carlos Lozano, head of Colombia’s Communist party, told AFP, speaking in Bogota.
