Argentine goalkeeper Pablo Migliore, recently released from jail in his country where he was held for 40 days over hampering a probe into a murder, has signed a three-year-deal with Croatia champions Dinamo Zagreb, the club announced Thursday.
“I’m looking forward that I might participate in the Champions League and boost the team. I will do my best,” Migliore said in a statement on the Dinamo Zagreb website.
The 31-year-old Argentine comes from San Lorenzo, with whom he terminated his contract after being released from prison earlier this month.
He was arrested over his role in the escape of a hardcore fan of his former club Boca Juniors who was wanted by police over a murder.
Migliore was freed earlier this month after posting bail of 500,000 Argentine pesos (95,000 dollars, 73,000 euros).
Dinamo Zagreb recently won their 15th Croatian title since gaining independence in 1991 from former Yugoslavia.
