NEW YORK, Dec. 19 (UPI) — A&E Network says its eight-episode documentary series Generation KKK will premiere on Jan. 10.

The hourlong show follows four prominent Klan families who each have a member trying to escape the world of white supremacists. Also featured on the program will be anti-hate and peace activists working to break the cycle.

“This series gives viewers an unprecedented look at what it is like to be born into hate. Our producers gained access to Klan families allowing for full immersion into this secret world and its impact on the next generation,” Rob Sharenow, executive vice president and general manager of A&E and Lifetime, said in a statement Monday. “Generation KKK brings viewers inside the places where hatred and prejudice are born and bred, and carried forward or not.”
