SAINT PAUL, Minn., Sept. 16 (UPI) — A collection of Prince’s friends and musical fans are set to perform a tribute concert for the late singer set to take place in October.

The all-star cast is headlined by Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera, Chaka Khan, John Mayer, Tori Kelly, Morris Day and the Time.

Billed as “The Official Prince Tribute,” the concert will be held at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minn., on Oct. 13.

“The family is extremely excited to provide an opportunity for the world to participate in the tribute for our brother Prince,” Prince’s sister Sharon Nelson said in a statement.

“Many fans and friends all over the world wanted to have the chance to honor, memorialize and celebrate this incredible man,” added the musician’s friend and advisor L. Londell McMillan. “We’re thrilled we were able to make this happen.”

Other guests include Anita Baker, Doug E. Fresh, Bilal, Mint Condition, Judith Hill and Liv Warfield along with keyboardist Morris Hayes and members of 3rdEyeGirl who will help with the performance of all songs.

Tickets for the event will go on sale starting Sept. 19 through Ticketmaster.

Prince died at the age of 57 in April following an accidental overdose of the powerful opioid fentanyl.

Recently, Prince’s ex-wife Mayte Garcia announced a new memoir entitled “The Most Beautiful,” a reference to Prince’s 1985 song “The Most Beautiful Girl in the World,” which will chronicle the couple’s marriage, tragic loss of their son in 1996 and subsequent miscarriage.
