Manila, March 3 (Petra)–His Royal Highness Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud hailed reforms carried out by by Jordan under the leaderships of His Majesty King Abdullah II.
In a statement to Jordan News Agency, Petra on the sidelines of The Arab Gulf Program for Development AGFUND award ceremony held recently in the Philippines’ capital Manila, Prince Talal valued Jordan’s support to developmental projects that meet the needs of citizens, mainly contribution of Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania Al Abdullah to projects that support women and children.
His Highness highlighted the role of Queen Rania in facilitating work at projects carried out by AGFUND, pointing to the role of the Arab Open University-Jordan branch is providing educational opportunities for those who did not pursue their studies.
He also hailed the leading role of Jordanian women and their management of key projects of the Arab program implemented in Jordan.
The Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND) is a regional organization based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. AGFUND was established in 1980 upon the initiative of His Royal Highness, Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud with the support of leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries: United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, State of Qatar, Sultanate of Oman and the State of Kuwait.
AGFUND works mainly in the field of development and growth at the international level through an effective partnership with the United Nations Organization, with regional and national development organizations, with public institutions, with the private sector, as well as with organizations of the civil society.
