Balhaf plant remains in operation: Yemen LNG

SANA’A, Jan. 31 (Saba)- Yemen LNG said on Friday that a blast sounded offshore the Balhaf Plant, coming from a rocket-launched explosive device.

In a press release, Yemen LNG confirmed there were no casualties or damage.

“The Balhaf Plant remains in operation”, the company said.

“Security measures have been reinforced in order to ensure vigilant surveillance of the plant and vicinity”.

Yemen LNG is working with the Yemeni Authorities to take further measures around Balhaf in order to ensure maximum security of people and assets on site.
