Warren Sapp Claims Giving Sex Toys to Female Staffers Was ‘Cute,’ not Sexual Harassment

Former NFL Network employee Jami Cantor has alleged that Sapp sexually harassed her in her wrongful termination lawsuit filed against the network.

One of her allegations is that Sapp gave her a sex toy as a Christmas Gift, according to Sporting News. Cantor also alleges that Sapp constantly talked about sex, talked of his own sex life, and showed her pictures of nude women. She also insisted that Sapp urinated in front of her.

After the allegations went public, Sapp responded by taking to Twitter to tweet a photo of the sex toy he claims he gave employees with a caption reading, “I’m sorry thought they was cute!”

Sapp defended himself on a recent radio program where he denied giving Cantor the device, Yahoo! Sports reported.

“No, nah,” Sapp said on the “Andy Slater Show” when asked about Cantor. “The sex toys are little vibrators. Little toys for ladies that move around a little bit.”

Sapp added, “It’s a little discreet way to carry your little thing around for the ladies.”

The former defensive tackle also denied urinating in front of Cantor.

“I did walk in the bathroom, but I did not urinate in front of her,” Sapp said. “I didn’t pee in front of my wife, and I was married to her for nine years. It’s just not something you [do]. What is that about? It’s not cute. It’s not sexual. It’s not something you want to see. Last time I checked, if you ate some asparagus, it might stink.”

Even as he denied giving the sex toy to Cantor, Sapp did admit to giving the same device to several other female NFL Network employees.

Sapp was fired by the NFL Network back in 2015 after he was arrested on a solicitation charge in Phoenix, Arizona, during Super Bowl week. Months later the charges were dropped after Sapp completed a Prostitution Solicitation Counseling Program.
