Spanish judge extends detention of ill British boy's parents

A Madrid judge on Monday ordered the parents of an ill British boy to be detained for another 72 hours, following their arrest for having removed their son from hospital without medical consent.

The judge also ordered an urgent medical report on the five-year-old boy, who was taken by his parents from a hospital in southern England barely a week after he had undergone surgery.
