Progress of SFD-funded medical projects in Yemen reviewed


SANA’A, April 15 (Saba) – Yemen and the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) discussed here on Tuesday the implementation progress of the SFD-funded medical projects in the country.




The discussions were held between Public Health and Population Minster Ahmed al-Ansi and a SFD delegation, who focused on the project of completing the rehabilitation of Aden General Hospital and building a Cardiac center in the hospital.




They agreed to accelerate the implementation of the project, since its importance to provide medical services for the citizens of Aden and its adjacent provinces.




The meeting also touched upon details of some projects to be funded by SFD, including the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Medical City and Hodaida Central Hospital.




The Minister expressed his appreciation of the great support provided by Saudi Arabia for the medical field in Yemen.
