Left-wing activists have set their sights on Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, projecting a message reading “@Jack is #Complicit” on the wall of Twitter’s headquarters following President Trump’s latest tweets on North Korea.

The Verge reports that left-wing activists have focused on Jack Dorsey, accusing the Twitter CEO of being complicit in President Donald Trump’s actions by giving him a platform to tweet and spread his message. San Francisco based left-wing activist group Resistance SF took aim at Dorsey with a message projected on Twitter’s San Francisco HQ which read, “@Jack is #Complicit.” In a post on their Facebook page, Resistance SF stated:

‪Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter and Square, has enabled @realDonaldTrump from his first dog whistles in the birther movement to his latest nuclear pissing contest. @Jack is #complicit. He endangers the world and allows Trump to break his company’s own terms of service to do it. As long as he is CEO of Twitter and Square, they cannot be considered moral tech companies, and the board of directors of both should do the right thing and insist that either Trump or Jack must go. Jack Dorsey brought 280 characters to Twitter, but what Twitter needs is a CEO with more character.

The group’s protest against Trump’s use of the Twitter platform is related to President Trump’s recent tweets relating to North Korea.

Jack Dorsey has defended his decision to allow the President to continue using Twitter, stating that President Trump’s tweets were “newsworthy.” In a statement from last May Dorsey said, “I believe it’s really important to hear directly from our leadership. And I believe it’s really important to have these conversations out in the open, rather than have them behind closed doors.”

Despite Dorsey’s comments, Trump’s Twitter account was briefly deactivated by an employee in November.

Many Twitter users reported President Trump’s tweet in an effort to have it removed from the platform but Twitter has since stated that the tweet does not break their policy on abusive behavior.
