Thirty Arrested in 'Taliban Gang' Bust in Bay Area

KTTV: East Palo Alto detective Ed Soares says the so-called Taliban gang is responsible for at least 12 homicides and 30 violent felonies over the past six years in the area. Soares says the gang traffics cocaine and uses high-caliber handguns and semi-automatic rifles to terrorize the community.



He says they used the name Taliban for shock value.
