Obama: Lawmakers Should Pass Bill Even if 'They Don't Think It's Good Policy'

President Barack Obama commends “responsible Republicans” for agreeing to a bill this week that funded the federal government and raised the nation’s debt limit. With looming crisis behind them, the President said, Congress should now pass legislation in other areas.
