GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump stated that under his administration the US will take out ISIS “in conjunction with others” and “We shouldn’t be sending our troops” on Monday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.
Trump said, [relevant remarks begin around 7:25] “We have to take out ISIS. We’ll do it in conjunction with others. But we’re going to have to take out ISIS.”
He added that other Arab countries are “going to have to” put boots on the ground to fight ISIS. Trump further said, “[T]hey have to do the fighting. We shouldn’t be sending our troops.” He later said, “We can help them with airstrikes and lots of other things.”
