FS1’s Broussard on Ball Sons Playing Overseas: LaVar ‘Has Got to Back Off’

Thursday on Fox Sports 1’s “Undisputed,” analyst Chris Broussard reacted to LaVar Ball reportedly hiring an agent to help his sons, LiAngelo and LaMelo, get signed to play basketball overseas.

The outspoken father removed LiAngelo from UCLA while he served a suspension in his freshman season for shoplifting in China.

Broussard said LaVar will need to “back off” from his antics of talking trash and calling out coaches because organizations in Europe could withhold paychecks.

“LaVar … has got to back off. Because in Europe they don’t play. The coaches and organizations in Europe, they have more control than the NCAA coaches do. If LaVar starts talking trash over there about LaMelo’s not playing enough, they won’t get a paycheck,” Broussard explained. “That’s how they do it over there.”
