Oconomy: 80% Pay More for Groceries than a Year Ago

Rasmussen Reports released a new survey showing that 80% of adults are paying more for groceries today than they were a year ago.  Only 12% say they are paying less.

The future doesn’t look much better according to respondents predictions as 70% expect their grocery bills will increase next year.

Confidence in the government’s ability to handle the economy is bleak as well, with 78% concerned about inflation and 58% reporting they are not confident the Federal Reserve Board can keep inflation under control and interest rates down.
