OKLAHOMA CITY, March 24 (UPI) — U.S. Postal Service officials said they have identified a mail carrier caught on camera throwing a valuable package in Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City resident Pedro Gonzales’ CCTV security cameras recorded the woman lobbing the package, which contained a camera and Blu-ray movies from Amazon.com, onto his porch before running a lap around her delivery vehicle and leaving.

Postal Service officials said the woman has been identified from the footage and they are taking steps to ensure the incident is not repeated. They said privacy rules prevent them from releasing the employee’s name or revealing whether she would be fired.

Postal officials visited Gonzales’ home to apologize. He said Amazon is offering him a 20 percent discount for his troubles.

Gonzales posted an HD version of the surveillance camera footage to YouTube.

Package delivery company UPS announced in January a driver was fired after a Houston resident’s security cameras recorded him throwing packages over a fence and urinating on the house.
