Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) declared at the March for Life rally in Washington, DC, on Friday that the pro-life movement “is on the rise” because truth, science, and love are “on our side.”

Speaker Ryan welcomed the crowd and cheered that we finally have a pro-life president, Donald J. Trump, in the White House.

Ryan asked, “Can we just thank God for giving us a pro-life president back in the White House?”

Ryan was amazed by all of the young people present at the March for Life rally in the nation’s capital, arguing that “this is a movement on the rise.”

He added that the pro-life movement is on the rise because “truth,” “science,” and “love” are “on our side.”

“We believe every person deserves life and dignity,” he contended.

Ryan explained that the Republican-controlled House continues to make progress to enact pro-life legislation.

“We’re making a lot of progress. In the House, we passed legislation to defund Planned Parenthood. In the House, we passed Pain-Capable Protection Act, which restricts abortions after 20 weeks,” Ryan explained.
