It was elementary that Hollywood would make a sequel to the sly 2009 smash “Sherlock Holmes.”
“Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows” managed to keep the spirit of that modern-day reboot alive while introducing us anew to Professor Moriarty, Holmes’ arch nemesis. Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law reprise their roles as one of fiction’s greatest sleuths and his loyal sidekick, respectively. “Mad Men’s” Jared Harris, “Prometheus'” Noomi Rapace and Rachel McAdams co-star in a film which boasts one of the liveliest endings in recent memory.
The film arrives via Blu-ray combo pack or digital download today, but Big Hollywood readers have a chance to win two free Blu-ray editions of the film.
