Right Wing Music Radio Infiltrates CPAC 2013

In its 40 year history, the Conservative Political Action Conference has never, to our knowledge, had a radio station that exclusively showcases music and shows by Conservative/Libertarian artists and radio hosts broadcasting live from their “Radio Row.”

Until now, that is.

BigDawg Music Radio (BDMR) – the first known radio station to feature music and pop culture-focused shows by right-leaning artists and radio hosts, 24 hours a day will be joining local and nationally syndicated terrestrial and internet radio stations later this week on CPAC’s Radio Row at the Gaylord National Harbor Hotel in Maryland–this year’s venue for the annual gathering of conservatives.

BDMR, launched in April 2012 by BigDawg Music Mafia founders, Lisa Mei and “BigDawg” Andrew, will be broadcasting live Thursday and Friday with hosts Ed Stevens and Molly James (Let’s Talk! With Ed and Molly),  Trade Martin and Jimmy Jay (Today in News – Sunday Morning Fun House), and yours truly, Lisa Mei (Off the Hook” and “Afterburner) behind the mic spinning some fantastic original music by our member artists andchatting with CPAC speakers, attendees, and friends of BigDawg MusicMafia. Be sure to check out the Radio Row schedule and do stop by whilewe are on the air.

AsBigDawg Music Radio prepares to celebrate its one-year anniversary, it is only fitting that we take a moment to remember andsalute the ultimate culture warrior – the late, great, AndrewBreitbart – who just over one year ago, at last year’s conference, toldus we were doing “great things” and encouraged us to keep chargingforward when he took a few minutes to chat with us on our live videostream at BigDawg Music Mafia.  He often said “culture is upstream ofpolitics.” We could not agree more and look forward to bringing some ofthat “Culture Revolution” to CPAC 2013.

BigDawg Music Radio will also be joining in a call by Ryan Bolyard, president of the Hillsdale College Republicans, to stand with theHonorable Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) during his CPAC speech at 1:30 p.m. March 14.

For those who can’t make it to CPAC, we, at BigDawgMusic Mafia, would like to take Ryan’s call to #StandWithRand one stepfurther and ask that EVERYONE at home, work, or play – no matter whatyou are doing between 1:30 – 1:45 pm–stop what you are doing and Stand with Rand in spirit and in prayer for Country! Please join us here and share where you plan to #StandWithRand.

As fellow BigDawger and patriot rocker Jeremy Dodge says in his song “Stand Up”…

More stars than stripes

A revolution needs a war

And this war needs a revolutionary.

Fight for your rights

The constitution speaks of speech that’s free

Open your mouths from sea to shining sea.

So will the real Americans please stand up

No more hiding your face in the sand

Will the real Americans please stand up

Divided we’ve fallen but united we’ll stand!

Sen. Rand Paul stood for close to 13 hours on the Senate floor fighting for all of us. Will you

#StandWithRand for 15 minutes?

See you @CPAC2013 #ConTweeps!
