Kanye West went off on game manufacturers last week after his two-year-old daughter, North West, apparently racked up a huge phone bill due to in-app game purchases.
During a profane-filled Twitter rant last Friday, the 38-year-old rapper blasted companies that take advantage of impressionable children with mobile devices.
“F*ck any game company that puts in-app purchases on kids games!!!” said Kanye. “That makes no sense!!! We give the iPad to our child and every 5 minutes there’s a new purchase!!!”
“If a game is made for a 2 year old, just allow them to have fun and give the parents a break for Christ sake,” he added.

Ironically, Kanye’s wife, Kim, was called a “scumbag pig” last year by an angry mother whose child racked up a $120 tab playing the Kim Kardashian Hollywood game, all because of in-app purchases, Cosmopolitan reports.
My son was playing the Kardashian Hollywood game on an iPhone. Somehow bypassed his allowance, went to saved credit card. $120 in 2 days.

Parents – DELETE the Kardashian Hollywood game. She's making $700K a DAY on this game, by tricking into massive purchases.

PARENTS – if your kids have smartphones – go check in app purchases. And I advice DELETE the Kardashian game. Unless you WANT to give her $$

We'd set up what we thought were restricted allowances, but bc there was a card attached, I'm now funding Kim Kardashian's lip gloss.

THANK YOU APPLE! They're refunding the charges one at a time. PHEW. Abe is drying his tears. Cursing the Kardashians. #lifelesson

Best thing about this disaster? My son fucking hates the Kardashians now.

Abe, age 11: Sobbing. "I hate those goddamn Kardashians." Also? "I thought I was smarter than this."

Kanye may want to tell his wife to follow his advice, and should probably check out this list of free apps for kids, offered by Common Sense Media.
