PA Man Furious Over Dead Mother's Rent

WHTM: David Schroyer lost his mother March 18th. The following day he says he took care of things at his mother’s apartment, canceling cable and utilities and her apartment lease. He told managers at Springetts Apartments he would have her things moved in just a few days. He says he was told to hand over a check for the following month’s rent because his mother didn’t give a 30 day notice. He says they even threatened to change the locks if he didn’t. Schroyer is dumbfounded, and says this “death penalty” is anything but fair.
