Prosecutor to Protesters: ‘I Heard Your Calls of No Justice No Peace’

Friday, Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced that six officers will face multiple charges for the death of Freddie Gray while in police custody.

Mosby said Gray had been illegally arrested, detained and suffered  “a severe and critical neck injury” as a result of being “handcuffed, shackled by his feet and unrestrained” inside a prisoner transport vehicle.

She continued, “To the people of Baltimore and demonstrators across America, I heard your calls for, “No Justice, No peace. Your peace is sincerely needed as I work to deliver justice on behalf of this young man.”
