During an interview with the Huffington Post on Monday, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) accused the Trump campaign of coordinating with WikiLeaks to damage Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Reid said, “Someone within the Trump campaign organization was in on the deal. I have no doubt, okay? Now, whether they told him or not, I don’t know. I assume they did.”
After adding that the press has an “obligation to be outspoken and to go after things.” Reid stated that he thinks WikiLeaks “coordinated everything they did, obviously, with the Trump campaign.”
Reid further accused FBI Director James Comey of being a “front” for the Republican Party who cost Clinton the election, as well as costing Democrats multiple Senate seats.
