On Wednesday’s broadcast of CBS’ “The Late Show,” “Pod Save America” co-host, “Lovett or Leave It” host, and former Obama speechwriter Jon Lovett stated that President Trump is a “fascist Hamburglar, whose addled, racist, narcissistic mind, last picked up some information from the New York Post in 1987.”
Lovett responded to a question on what he thinks about the current White House’s communication abilities by saying, “I’m not sympathetic, because these people have made their bargain, but it’s not easy to work for a fascist Hamburglar, whose addled, racist, narcissistic mind, last picked up some information from the New York Post in 1987. So, it’s like, I get why Sean Spicer’s in a bad mood most days.”
