Hillary Clinton on 2018: ‘I Think Flipping the House Is Certainly Realistic’

Wednesday in Ranchos Palos Verdes, CA at the annual Code Conference, former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton argued the Democratic Party can take back control of the House of Representatives in the 2018 midterm elections.

“We have to first win elections in Virginia and New Jersey in 2017,” Clinton said. “We’ve got to take the House back and keep our incumbents and maybe make progress in the Senate. Everything will change if we win in 2018.”

“If we can flip those, then go deeper into where I did well, where we can get good candidates, I think flipping the House is certainly realistic,” she added.
