While touting former Vice President Joe Biden on CBS’s “This Morning” as a good potential president in part because of his experience, Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) slammed President Donald Trump’s lack of experience from never having served in the military or as an elected official.
Coons said that experience matters in the presidency, adding that Trump’s lack of experience “has had real and negative consequences.”
“Having President Trump, someone who never served either in the military or an elected office as our president, has had real and negative consequences,” Coons stated.
He went on to say the difference between Trump and Biden is that the former VP would have command of the world stage “from day one.”
